Payam has over a decade of experience as design lead for multiple award-winning public and private landscapes both in the U.S. and abroad. Since moving to California over two years ago he has been involved in large projects in The Carmel Valley and in the San Francisco Bay Area. He continues to apply his passion for the arts and sciences into his practice, finding intuitive design solutions within multiple scales and cultural contexts.
Payam is dedicated to a life serving the public good through artistic design strategies and creative problem solving. He is an experienced studio critic, has taught general landscape architecture courses as well as studio, and has served briefly as appointed member of the Urban Design and Architecture Advisory Panel (UDAAP) for the city of Baltimore.
