As part of the complete renovation of the First Church of Christ in downtown Monterey, BFS Landscape Architects designed a modern entry courtyard with a wall fountain to help screen noise from the street and create a tranquil sanctuary before entering the lobby. Dramatic steel panels provide the backdrop for the fountain and screen the adjacent property activities. Kangaroo paw planting with ornamental grasses runs horizontally along the tiered stucco entry walls, accenting the design of the terraced site.
