Balermino Park San José, California

ROBERTO ANTONIO BALERMINO PARK

Named after a historical figure of the Ohlone Indian community, BFS designed this neighborhood park on a two-acre parcel with active recreation uses away from adjacent homes. Play areas with a variety of stand-alone play structures flank a centrally located picnic area, and are integrated with a play surface themed around Ohlone basket weaving patterns.
