BFS teamed with AFE Construction to prepare design plans for the Glendale Sports Complex, a public facility, to convert the natural grass high school-level baseball field to synthetic surfacing. A local private school that used the field for its games provided the funding. The project also included sunken dugouts, modifications to concrete bleacher seating to accommodate ADA, redesigned bullpen and batting cages, and an open-air scorer’s enclosure modification to include a permanent concrete table and steel/aluminum roof structure. The existing irrigation was removed and converted to a quill line system. BFS assisted AFE Construction with obtaining the building permits.
